The U.S. Army is looking for contractors to create a cloud service to track cryptocurrency transactions. This is stated in the request of the Army Contract Command (ACC) in New Jersey.

According to the document, the service is intended for use by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC) in the fight against fraud, extortion and money laundering.

The contractor should identify the sources of transactions and conduct multi-currency analysis from bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies.

Other features include real-time transaction tracking, including the identification of the services used to carry out transactions and repeating patterns.

Let us remind that the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has been tracking cryptocurrency transactions since 2015 using Chainalysis software.
